Mac Doner: Reviews & Ratings
Good service, tasty food but the older gentleman charged me more than the actual price of the product

Nestled in the heart of Paris's 6th arrondissement, Mac Doner offers a straightforward yet satisfying take on classic kebab and fast food dishes. Located at 112B Rue de Rennes, this modest restaurant stands out for its Assiette Kebab and the intriguingly named "Frites Et Sa Graisse," a hearty side that perfectly complements the main dishes. The menu leans into generous portions, with customers praising the ample servings and solid quality, especially valuing the balance between taste and price.
The Assiette Kebab, a staple here, delivers on freshness and flavor without the pretense of gourmet flair. It’s a dish that fills you up, designed more for comfort and reliability than culinary innovation. The fries served "et sa graisse" — literally "with its fat" — hint at a traditional, no-nonsense approach to fast food, enticing those seeking authentic kebab culture with generous seasoning and satisfying textures.
Mac Doner’s atmosphere is humble, modest in seating with limited space both upstairs and in the basement, which mainly attracts a student crowd looking for quick, hearty meals. Service is brisk and efficient, though not particularly warm or chatty. The restaurant’s owner tends to maintain a low profile, focusing more on keeping the food coming than engaging in small talk.
While some patrons have noted occasional inconsistencies in pricing, the overall reception acknowledges Mac Doner as a dependable option when craving a kebab near Saint-Germain.
